Cemetery Services & Memorial Plaques

Cemetery Services

The Canmore Cemetery is located on Palliser Trail.

The Cemetery has plots available for in ground interments and a Columbarium. A Columbarium is an above ground granite structure which allows for the placement of cremated remains in a niche. Each niche is capable of holding two urns.

There are two Field of Honour sections. We are now selling plots in our newest section, West Section H.

Our historic section is untouched and dates back to the early 1800s. It is located behind the Columbarium. It is open to the public.

For any inquiries please contact: Parks/Cemetery Coordinator at 403.678.1599 or cemetery@canmore.ca
