Support Groups
Parents of Teens
This support group-based discussion meets monthly and is open to all caregivers of tweens and teens. As part of the group, caregivers will share their experiences and hear the collective wisdom of the group’s experiences. These discussions are designed to help caregivers both understand and respond to the teens in their lives. Sessions are facilitated by an FCSS representative, who is also a parent of teens in Canmore. If you or someone you know is interested in participating in this group, please contact fcssadmin@canmore.ca or call 403.609.3743

Non-Profit Support
In 2021, bowvalleynonprofits.ca was developed by the Town of Banff and Town of Canmore as a place for Bow Valley Non-Profits to access resources, training tools, and funding opportunities. It's also a place to connect with members of other non-profits through a forum, or find a local freelance contractor. There is also a free monthly speaker series for local non-profits which have been recorded for continued access.
