The Town of Canmore is issuing a Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) with the aim of establishing a list of 2-3 firms to provide project management, design, procurement, and construction administration services for Steep Creek Hazard Mitigation Structures.

The purpose of this Request for Quote is to obtain pricing for the supply of one (1) Medium Duty Dual Rear Wheel Truck. The truck will have a landscape body and snow plow installed by Commercial Truck Equipment Co. The Town of Canmore is actively seeking equipment that will reduce our overall carbon foot print and costs of operation.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to seek a qualified contractor to control the spread of Mountain Pine Beetle (MPB) infested trees by falling and burning identified infested trees within the boundaries of the Town of Canmore and the Hamlet of Harvie Heights. At this time, completed Mountain Pine Beetle Ground Survey work relating to this project has identified 63 MBP infested trees for fall, removal, and burn or other recommended control.

Municipal Engineering and Urban Design Consulting Services

2023 Supply and Installation of Trees

1. The supply, delivery and install of 25 trees at the locations specified in Schedule B Maps within the Town of Canmore. 2. Removal and disposal of existing dead trees or root balls prior to install of new trees, as required. 3. The installation of provided fencing of deciduous trees as required in Schedule B Maps. Fencing of these trees must take place on the day the tree is installed.
