Mini Mingles is designed for parents with infants ages 0-12 months and soon-to-be parents expecting babies.
This drop-in program allows you and your baby (or soon-to-be baby) the opportunity to connect with families in Canmore in a casual, unstructured setting. Developmental resources, Ages and Stages Questionaries, and more will be available. Participants may join and leave at any point during each session.
Sessions may be held outside depending on weather conditions.
What To Bring: Blankets, and any personal items such as snacks, water, and diapers.

Car seat safety isn’t child’s play, so let us help you feel empowered and educated when it comes to car seat installation, use, and selection. At the Car Seat Clinic, we will work hands-on with parents and caregivers to have their car seats checked to ensure that they are installed and used correctly.
Our Child Passenger Safety Technicians will also offer guidance on proper harnessing and seat usage, help with choosing the right seat for the child and vehicle, and provide education on safety standards and best practices.

Sensory-Friendly Toys Together
Time: 8:45 am - 9:30 am Location: Family Connection Centre, 600A 9 St
Sensory-Friendly Toys Together is a drop-in child development designed specifically for caregivers and children ages 0 – 6 who can benefit from a low sensory environment.
Lights will be dimmed and sensory toys such as fidgets and headphones will be provided. This is an open space to play, explore, and socialize with others. Toys are provided to help children learn through free play, to encourage imagination and creativity, and to develop fine and gross motor skills. Families may join and leave at any point during each session.
What to bring: Any personal items such as snacks, water, diapers, toys etc.
Note: This is a parented program and caregiver supervision of children is always required.
Time: Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8:45-9:30 a.m.

Time: 9:30 am - 11:30 am Location: Family Connection Centre, 600A 9 St.
Toys Together+ is a free drop-in program that provides caregivers and children ages 0 - 6 with a space for free play, exploring, and socializing with others. While all children in this age range are welcome to attend, the “+” symbolizes that the program will incorporate additional activities for 4+ year-olds. Toys Together+ will conclude with a dance party at 11:15 a.m. Families may join and leave at any point during each session.
