Join the Town of Canmore and partners in celebrating National Indigenous History Month throughout June.
Each June, the Town of Canmore celebrates National Indigenous History Month and National Indigenous Peoples Day — recognizing and honouring the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities across Turtle Island.
We have partnered with various groups to create programming throughout the month of June. Bring your family and friends to these special and important events, where we can learn, celebrate, and come together in the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth.
To register for Indigenous Cultural Learning workshops or the free shuttle to the pow wow in Mînî Thnî on June 21, please use the form at the bottom of this page.
If you have questions or would like to volunteer to support any events, please email us at artsculture@canmore.ca.
