Canada Day Volunteer Registration

Each year, the Town of Canmore is able to host the Canada Day parade thanks to the help of a dedicated crew of volunteers. Want to join us on July 1? We would love to have you!

Please register no later than June 16, 2025.

Our volunteers will be working outdoors and indoors along the parade route and at the Canmore Recreation Centre. Learn more about the available volunteer roles and shifts for July 1.

While we ask volunteers to commit to a minimum of four hours, we appreciate any time you can give.

Volunteer Role and Shift Selection

We are looking for volunteers to assist in a variety of capacities throughout the day and evening at both the Canmore Recreation Centre and along the parade route. Pending the duties, some shifts will be indoors while others take place outdoors.

You can select multiple roles that match your availability and interests. We'll do our best to create a schedule that balances your preferences while supporting the event’s needs.

Volunteer Role Selection (July 1) *

Event Set-Up Team (8 a.m. – 12 p.m.)

Parade Route Team (11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

Cooling Team (11 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

Horse Staging Team (8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)

Hospitality Team (8 a.m. - 3 p.m.)

Event Tear-Down Team (1 p.m. – 4 p.m.)
