Available Positions
The deputy returning officers are mainly responsible for registering electors and issuing ballots. This includes verifying voter identification, explaining and administering the elector register, and explaining how to complete a ballot. Deputies may also be assigned to assist electors deposit their voted ballots into the ballot box, and conduct the institutional voting.
You must be available for an in-person, mandatory paid training session on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The information officers direct voters to the registration tables and then on to the voting booth, and assist with any questions voters may in regards to the ID requirements and the overall voting process. They also may be required to assist voters with mobility or vision challenges. Greeters are required to stand for most of their shift.
The counters are responsible for tallying up all the ballots at the end of the night. This position requires strong attention to detail, comfort with a repetitive task, and the ability to stay up late as counters may be required to stay until the count is completed.
