You’re Invited to Party on the Path: The Official Opening of the West Bow River Pathway
Join us at 1 p.m. on May 25, rain or shine, to officially open the West Bow River Pathway. Meet at West Canmore Park using your preferred mode of transportation (bike, scooter, foot, etc.) for a short group “ribbon cutting” ride or walk. Our friends at CAMBA, Community Cruisers, and Rocky Mountain Adaptive will also be joining us to celebrate with the community.
Why this project makes it easier to get around our community:
- This project provides an important new connection for year-round access between the Town Centre and Three Sisters. We reduced the path grade, widened the path and crossings, and replaced the gravel surface has been replaced with asphalt to allow the path to be enjoyed by everyone in our community.
- This celebration recognizes the importance role the path will have in connecting our community, increasing safety and accessibility for all users, and providing a key multi-use and all-season connection.
Date: Saturday, May 25, 2024
Location: West Canmore Park
Time: 1-3 p.m.
- 1:30 p.m. – Welcome from the Mayor
