Smoke has arrived in the Bow Valley. Wildfire smoke can be harmful to your health, even at low concentrations. Here are some things you can do to reduce your exposure to wildfire smoke:
➡️ Stop or reduce your activity level if breathing becomes uncomfortable or you feel unwell.
➡️ Drink lots of water.
➡️ Limit your time outdoors and keep windows and doors closed.
Need a place to find cleaner, cooler air? Elevation Place and the Canmore Recreation Centre are open late and have public sitting space available if you need to take a break from the smoke.
