Subdivision Authority

Responsibilities

The Subdivision Authority decides on all applications for property subdivision. 

The subdivision authority is comprised of the chief administrative officer. 

This authority decides on any proposed subdivision applications such as municipal reserves, school reserves, and public road rights of way.

Meetings

The primary authority meets only when an application is received. Dates, times, and location of the meeting will be advertised on this calendar with a minimum of 24 hours' notice. Meetings are held in public.

Subdivision Authority Member

Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). The CAO shall, in writing, delegate the powers and duties of the subdivision authority to any employee or employees of the municipality considered qualified.
