The Town of Canmore invites Alberta based artists living or working on Treaties 4, 6, 7, 8 or 10, to submit a proposal for a temporary public art (3D/Sculpture) installation for the intersection at 7 Ave. and 8 St. within the Main Street Pedestrian Zone in downtown Canmore. The installation can be a newly constructed or installation-ready sculpture.

The project includes construction and maintenance of landscaping for several Projects located in the Town of Canmore, comprised of:
• Teepee Town Phase 2A landscaping construction and 2-year maintenance period
• West Bow River Pathway – Installation of new trees and shrubs, no maintenance
period

Provisional work includes:
• CP Pedestrian Crossing – Weeding, mulch replenishment, replacement of dead plant material with 2-year maintenance period
• Various locations – Mowing maintenance, maintenance/watering of shrubs and trees, the laying and watering of new sod.
• Other similar work at the discretion of the Town of Canmore

The Town of Canmore is issuing this Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) to select firms or designers to offer graphic design services on a variety of projects and corporate design requests on an ongoing basis.

Note: An addendum was issued on March 4 to remove the WCB requirements and insurance requirements listed in the RFSO.

The Council Chambers space in the Civic Centre is in need of upgrades to its audio/visual components. The Town of Canmore is seeking a supplier to retrofit the space with new equipment and to provide support moving forward for the space. The space will require new projectors, microphones and controls, Zoom/Teams meeting integration, speakers, and all other equipment required for the above noted equipment’s operation.

The Town of Canmore requires up to six (6) half-ton pickup trucks for the seasonal influx of Parks workers. The rental period will begin in May 2024 and all trucks will be returned by the end of October 2024.

The Town of Canmore is requesting quotations for the supply, delivery, and installation of furnishings for the Bus Stop Improvement Capital project. Scope includes bus shelters.

Community Housing Corporation (“CCHC”) is seeking fee proposals from qualified vendors to provide pre-construction services and construction management services for a purpose-built rental residential building complex.

The purpose of this Request for Quote is to obtain pricing for the supply of one (1) Medium Duty Dual Rear Wheel Truck. The truck will have a landscape body and snow plow installed by Commercial Truck Equipment Co. We are seeking expressions of interest for the following service providers and event support:

• Indoor and outdoor food vendors
• Community non-profit organizations

The Town of Canmore (The Town) is issuing this Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) to select three (3) firms to provide Municipal Engineering and Urban Design consulting services on an “On Call” basis for The Town’s Engineering Services department. Each of the three firms selected will be expected to provide both engineering and urban design services.

Bus Stop Concrete Pad and Furnishings Installation

Canmore Community Housing Corporation (“CCHC”) is seeking fixed fee proposals from qualified vendors to provide bathroom renovation services for a purpose-built rental residential complex located 100 Dyrgas Lane. The services provided will support CCHC and PEKA Property Management.

The Town of Canmore is requesting proposals from qualified proponents to complete approximately 25 hectares of FireSmart fuel modification within and adjacent to developed areas.  Project must be completed by April 30, 2024.

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to seek a qualified contractor to control the spread of Mountain Pine Beetle (MPB) infested trees by falling and burning identified infested trees within the boundaries of the Town of Canmore and the Hamlet of Harvie Heights. At this time, completed Mountain Pine Beetle Ground Survey work relating to this project has identified 63 MBP infested trees for fall, removal, and burn or other recommended control.

1. The supply, delivery and install of 25 trees at the locations specified in Schedule B Maps within the Town of Canmore.
2. Removal and disposal of existing dead trees or root balls prior to install of new trees, as required.
3. The installation of provided fencing of deciduous trees as required in Schedule B Maps. Fencing of these trees must take place on the day the tree is installed.
