FCSS is a Provincial and Municipal Government cost share program that provides, typically free of charge, preventive social programs in local communities. Canmore FCSS focuses on providing support, information and referral. Support is offered through programs such as Meals on Wheels, taxi passes, short-term counseling, divorce support and assisting volunteer groups. This is not an exhaustive list, but rather a snap shot. Information is delivered via group presentations with social emotional focus, through community courses, at our on-site resource library, within the listings of the Community Resource Directory, and by way of coordinating the Bow Valley Interagency group. FCSS is a central hub for referral services to other community helping agencies as well as to individuals. If you need a service in this community, FCSS aims to connect you.
