Canmore Trail Maps

The new Canmore Pathways and Trails map is here!

Useful for everyone from first time visitors to long-time residents, the map illustrates all paved pathways and major gravel/natural surfaced trails throughout the town core and along the flanks of Canmore’s surrounding peaks. Information on recommended routes, wildlife safety and trail etiquette is also provided.

Please note that many local access and unmaintained trails are not shown on the map in order to ensure legibility and highlight major routes.  Over time, the map will be updated to reflect additions and changes to pathways and trails in and around Canmore. Your feedback is welcome. Please click here to comment.

The Town of Canmore’s pathways and trails are inspected on an infrequent basis and conditions may vary. Use at your own risk. Watch for: broken surfaces, terrain changes, obstacles and seasonal hazards such as fallen trees, ice build-up and flooding.  Report concerns to: 403-678-1599.
