 The joint efforts of the Rotary Club, the Town of Canmore, and our twin Japanese city of Higashikawa inspired the name of this park located in the heart of downtown Canmore adjacent to the Civic Centre. The park exemplifies the essence of Canmore; heritage in the Mine Car Feature, community service in the Rotary Club Gazebo and environmental stewardship in the boardwalk. Rotary Friendship Park is close to all the amenities offered by the downtown area making it a popular meeting and lunch spot. The park is open 7:00 am – 11:00 pm year-round. Amenities
