The Town of Canmore formed a climbing stakeholder group to work through the design and program for the climbing wall in Elevation Place. A committed and passionate group worked for two months to review designs and create an operating model for the climbing wall. The Town of Canmore thanks all participants for their efforts. On May 24, 2012 the winning design for the Elevation Place climbing wall was unveiled.
