Police Services are provided to the Town of Canmore by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police under the Community Policing concept. The municipal detachment consists of:

• 1 Staff Sergeant
• 1 Sergeant
• 2 Corporals
• 15 Constables
• 2 GIS Constable
• 1 Public Servant
• 2 full time and 1 part time Municipal Employees

Our mandate is to protect life and property, detect and investigate crime, enact crime prevention initiatives and enforce Federal, Provincial and Municipal Statutes. The detachment offers 24-hour service.
