CANMORE MOUNTAIN MARKET
The Canmore Mountain Market, a summer tradition for over twenty years, is new and improved! The Market has relocated to the Canmore Civic Centre Plaza in the heart of downtown, 902-7th Avenue. The market will run every Thursday from 8am-5pm from June 2 to October 6, 2011 (tentative). This is a weekly summer event designed for the entire family.
| Rain or shine, this 19 week market showcases a variety of locally and regionally produced items. Currently the selection includes fresh fruits and vegetables, (with seasonal Alberta and B.C. options when available) elk meat, fresh poultry, baked goods and other food items. The Market also offers crafts and other locally produced items to choose from. Buskers may be on hand to entertain you to add to the atmosphere. |

The Mountain Market brings Canmore’s small town, neighbourhood character to the downtown area. The Market provides business opportunities for small entrepreneurs as well as drawing attention to businesses in the downtown core. The Civic Centre Plaza provides a stunning location for discovering Canmore; from breathtaking views to shopping to chance re-connections between old friends and opportunities to make new ones. |
