Kid's Art Exhibition CAAG Gallery - 950 8th Ave, Canmore. Each year, we ask the kid's in our community roughly aged 5-12 years, to exhibit their artwork. Kid's Art is not a competition, rather a celebration of the imagination, showcasing the artistic talent of children and youth in our community.

WILD 2012 Kids Art Exhibition This year's exhibition had entries from over 120 local kids! Kid's were responding to the theme WILD with such imagination, including artworks with anything from Magazine covers to 'Wild and Woolly' sculpture. Others included Bad Hair Days, Wild Moms, Jungle creatures and Wildsmart education collages. At the Opening Reception, CAAG provided jungle treats and juice for everyone to enjoy whilst making their very own Animal Mask. The exhibit was inspiring and wonderfully creative. Congratulations to all those who contributed to the show!
The next Kid’s Art Exhibition is titled ‘WILD’ and we are asking Kid’s aged roughly 5-12 years to respond to this theme in any medium they choose. Kid’s Art is not a competition, rather a celebration of the imagination, showcasing the artistic talent of children and youth in our community. |
